As a courtesy, my booking system offers the option for you to sign up for 48 hour confirmations via text, e-mail or both.

 

Please understand that when you forget or cancel an appointment without enough notice, I miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time and clients on my waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. 

 

These policies are strictly enforced to protect the level of service I promise, to protect the time of my existing and loyal clients, and to protect my livelihood.

Cancellations

In the event that you need to cancel or reschedule a reservation, I require 48 hours notice to avoid a late cancellation fee of 50% of services scheduled. 

 

"No Shows" will be invoiced for the full amount of services scheduled and will require a deposit to re-book. Repeated no shows or last minute cancellations may forfeit the opportunity to rebook in the future at the stylists discretion.

EXCEPTIONS: At the stylists discretion, Cancellation Fees may be waived due to illness or emergency. Please be mindful that this is an honor system and will be recorded. 

Tardiness

Please be aware that if you are running late for your appointment I may not be able to provide the full services for which you are scheduled. If you are running more than 15 minutes late, services may need to be rescheduled completely and a "no show" charge will apply. I will do my best to accommodate your needs but it is unfair for me to run late for my next appointments. Please text or call as soon as you know you are running late.

Wednesday 12-7
Thursday 12-7
Friday 11-6

Saturday 10-4
 

With any booking questions, please reach out to me directly via text at (518) 387-9855. Please be aware, I am a one woman show. I check all messages during business hours Tuesday-Friday, however when I am with a client I am not on my phone. During the work week you can expect a response within 24 hours. During non-business hours, I am "out of the office" and will reply when business hours resume. Appointments often are booked out 4-6 weeks and any last minute openings will be posted in my Instagram stories @katieburnsartistry. If you need to manage an appointment you are able to login via your confirmation text/e-mail and make adjustments. If you are unable to do so and message me during off hours, I will receive a timestamp along with your message and there will be no cancellation fee with 48 hours notice.
