Katie is a licensed cosmetologist and makeup artist, working behind the chair since 2006.​ Originally trained in upstate NY, she has pursued many continuing education opportunities over the years. Some of these include courses and certifications at the REDKEN Exchange, DevaCurl Academy, and Temptu Pro Airbrush Makeup. She is a Certified Redken Design Stylist, Certified Temptu Bridal Artist, and a DevaCurl Inspired Stylist.

In the salon, Katie specializes in hair design and color, as well as bridal services including formal occasion hair styling and makeup. She currently works by appointment only.
